Local Industry is a small but tough map set in the earliest time period of 
the game. The map has NO PASSENGERS, thus the name. Don't waste your time 
waiting for them, or building hotels. Mail traffic has been reduced by half 
but keep an eye out for the occasional mail load, as it can pay off big.

There are half a dozen events all with minor effects. Check the fine print 
of each newspaper announcement for details about the event's impact.

In multiplayer, the game will last 25 years from the start date.

In single player, the game lasts until 1863, so starting earlier gives you 
more time to work with, albeit with only the slowest engines available.
