Skeletorr, the Skeleton King

Nightmare Difficulty

He's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!
"Attention all Horror Archers. Horror Archers, please report to the Principal's Office immediately."
You've been some baaaaad bad boys. Now that I have finally gotten around to picking up Dim Vision, I want a rematch. Come and get your spanking!
Ah yes, sweet victory. Look at them stand there, helpless, while my mages fire at them from complete safety. Makes you wonder why I didn't get this skill at clvl 6 when it became available, but like I said, I KNOW what DV can do. I wanted to see how far I could go and what I could accomplish without it. When that ran its course, well, it was time to breathe some new life into this character. I've got a date with Hell Difficulty, to see whether or not Skeletorr has what it takes to become the King of the skeletons.
Palace cleared with no sweat -- laughably easy with DV. On now to the Arcane, where I will restore Skeletorr to full clear status by wiping out everything there. Yes, even the Lightning Spires must perish.
What's the best way to kill a Lightning Spire with necromages? You open a portal, jump to town, jump back with your army bunched where you need them, then stand back and wait for them to shoot it down. You might even take a moment to get up, stretch your arms and legs and briefly rest your eyes.
First one quadrant, then another. Oh look, I've leveled up. Cool. Hmm, I have all the curses I need for the moment. Let's increase the artillery count. So I added another mage to my army.
Double digit troop count! Woohoo!
Lots and lots of cash to be made in the Arcane Sanctuary. Pretty decent experience, too.
Finally we come to the end of the last quadrant. What's a necromancer to do while waiting for his army to finish off the last spire. Why, gather up the treasure, of course.
Thus, after Act Three was full-cleared, I finished clearing Act Two. Skeletorr is funny like that. He has to work areas a bit at a time, tackle bosses or maybe even skip whole areas and return for them later; recruit armies as he can, conserve the easier areas until he needs the troops, throw army after army at some tough fights, and generally do things on his own private logic. I'm having a blast. :)
Skeletorr will see you in Act Four.
