And pray tell, what mighty artifact of lore was required to slay this terrible demon? Why, it was the grand staff of Firebolt +1 given to every apprentice sorcie bright enough to cast a basic cantrip. :) It's so valuable, you can sell it for a whole gold piece in any store in the land! :)

And pray tell, what mighty magicks were employed to defeat this unholy terror? Why, only the trusty firebolt skill, and just enough warmth to prevent from tripping over the "New Skills" button in the lower right corner.

Ember went back to town, sold the incredibly crappy Uberdrop (Sigon's Gage for an UBERDROP? What an insult!) and that useless blue Light Plate, picked up her spare potions and the cap she'd gambled but wasn't yet allowed to use, and said her goodbyes to Cain and Tyrael.

Ember went back to see Charsi and get her staff imbued. Apparently Charsi needs some practice with that hammer of hers, for just look at this dreadful result:

A fitting end, perhaps, to an absolutely brutal and dreadful Act Four. So it goes.

They pulled out all the stops. Unbelievable stairs traps both in the Steppes (which I had to face five different times) and on the River (which I had to force a map change to get around). Game crashes, fire resistance, brutal boss rolls, the worst possible timing for a renegade Storm Caster to pop up out of nowhere... they tried everything they could think of to destroy little Ember... and they failed! Oh the Agony of Defeat! The whole game cleared end to end by a puny weakling with 10 strength and a level one skill! Oh the shame of it!
