Dawn of Civilization, Sirian's writings for Sid Meier's Civilization IV

Adventure Three

So that's 40XP on my most elite unit.
Eight elite units, all tanks. (My most experienced Modern Armor had about 17XP.)
With Tanks, Carrier Groups, Bombers, Airports, Factories... There wasn't enough planet to score more than about 40XP on a unit without sandbagging.
I was shocked (shocked!) to see more than 60XP on Kylearan's winning Cossack. Though that was the benefit of starting the push early (and, as it turns out, getting to your own Horse supply. Without that, you were hamstrung. Nobody could know that when the game was launched, though!)
With less time before the end of the game, and less time on average per city capture, there wasn't time for me to grow cities to size 25. How on earth somebody did it with TWENTY cities--! I knew the Soldier points were doable, but I did not expect anybody to cruise to 150. Yet a couple of guys did just that, with lots and lots of size 25 captured cities. I guess it helped attacking the more fertile western continent, instead of ripping through the south like I did and not touching the west.
I have one hundred and twenty Hindu cities:
Forty-one Christian cities:
Thirty-five Muslim cities:
I built exactly one hundred Hindu missionaries (and sixty-two Hindu temples!) I founded (and still possess) thirty cities. (Captured eighty-nine cities!)
My casualties were extremely light:
Enemy casualties were somewhat higher:
Most of my own cities had just the three religions I founded. Mecca is the only city to have more than five religions.
In 1974AD, I have nine size 25 cities. Four are home grown, five (already mentioned earlier) were captured.
1975AD: Domination victory.
My territory went up by MORE THAN FIVE PERCENT!
That's from 57.91% to 62.96%!!! In ONE turn! Just from BORDER POPS!
That's insane.

Anyway, the scoring.

BREAKING NEWS!!!
This is a Dawn of Civilization SPECIAL REPORT!
DoC News Anchor #1: "We interrupt this broadcast to bring you breaking news in the matter of scoring minutiae. Upon further review, it has been discovered that points have gone unscored."
DoC News Anchor #2: "How can that be? For analysis, we turn to our guest in the studio, the esteemed Professor of Sirianology at Oxford University in Moscow. ... Professor, what can you tell us?"
DoC Talking Head: "Well, John. Our studies over the years have indicated a pattern of general misdirection on the part of Sirian. He has been known to say ridiculous things such as, "Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good," when in fact we all know that he hates to leave his fate in the hands of a dice roll."
DoC News Anchor #1: "OK, Professor. So what exactly does this mean for Sirian's status as Tsar of Russia?"
DoC Talking Head: "Well, Jim. A careful examination of the record shows that Sirian has pulled another one out of his--"
DoC News Anchor #2: "How can that be? Professor, please explain. Do you have proof?"
DoC Talking Head: "Yes I do, John. Look here. If we pan the main window over to Arabian territory, you will notice the population count on the city of Medina."
DoC News Anchor #1: "That city grew on the winning turn? ... Does that count, Professor?"
DoC Talking Head: "Yes, Jim. That meets the standard of 'by the end of the game.' Score two more Soldier points for Sirian the Great."
DoC News Anchor #2: "Aw, come on! I was enjoying the fact that he had come up short! This is getting really annoying."
DoC News Anchor #1: "Thank you, Professor. And so folks, there you have it. We at Dawn of Civilization are projecting Sirian to be a "Great" Soldier, as well as a "Great" Farmer and Priest. (Well, at least according to the scoring. Anything else is probably debatable!) This has been a Dawn of Civilizaton Special Report."
