Dawn of Civilization, Sirian's writings for Sid Meier's Civilization IV

Adventure Four

I had drafted twice at Alexandria, earlier, so it had two 3XP Riflemen sitting around, plus its original Archer. I upgraded the Archer and mobilized nearby reinforcements. Izzy brought a trio of meows and they began to beat on my defenses.
They also pillaged my roads and one pair of ships went to rip up my nets. (Some of my nets in the north had guards, actually, but not down here.)
A look at her troops, minus one Rifle that went to pillage the other road she could reach.
Of course, I'm researching Assembly Line (if you noticed). Infantry are just around the corner. Woops, bad timing for poor Izzy.
She had better attack NOW, because after I upgrade...
Wow, she actually attacked. (Not that that did her any good, but hey. If you're going to aim at somebody, you better squeeze the trigger!)
Here we are after mopping up the dregs and the wounded:
Research paused to gather cash for upgrading most of my Rifles to Infantry.

I popped an Engineer and used him to rush the Ironworks.
Yes there are Factories and Power Plants going up all across my empire. (Those two shouldn't come in the same tech, but oh well.)
Wow, lookit the size on those jungle cities! Thirteen, fourteen, seventeen plus? Man. They sure grow quick once the lands are clear and you stop whipping them to death.
Can you say, "Cottages"?
I knew you could.
Endless cottages are almost too easy. Having mostly grassland vs mostly plains is probably worth a difficulty level by itself.
